UnRekt Fund Policy.

Purpose. The policy outlines rules that are applicable to the usage of funds allocated to the UnRekt Fund (“Fund”) by WACEO. The policy describes the rules applicable to the fund allocation of the UnRekt project. The rules established in this policy are true and correct to the best of our knowledge and WACEO is bound to abide by them.

Scope of the policy. This policy is part of the WACEO Governance Framework and is applicable to the Project and its Contributors. Details about the project. Project UnRekt ("Project") is an initiative by WACEO AISBL to support the communities of dead coins that have suffered financial losses by giving communities of dead coins the option to swap their dead coin against the UnRekt token. The initiative aims to give the community members the opportunity to recover 50-80% of user's initial investments made in the dead project. Recognizing that the market is polluted with dead coins, with this initiative we aim to enable communities of dead coins to take part in the Project and be able to redeem a portion of their initial investment. Through this initiative, the affected communities would be able to recover their losses with the UnRekt token and when applicable, fund litigation proceedings against the bad actors that caused the project to die owing to scams, rug pull, fraud, or other malicious acts and be able to recoup their initial investment made to the project.

Utilization of Funds. The funds allocated from WACEO will be used in the development and operations of the Project. The utilization of Funds may include, without limitation, the following activities: Activities for marketing; Network building including community building and employing professionals to handle operational and marketing activities; Compliant structuring; Establishing a governance frameworkt; Activities undertaken to comply with rules and regulations including professional and expert fees; Any such activities that may reasonably be expected to be performed for building the foundation, development and growth of the Project.

Management of funds. The funds allocated from the WACEO shall be under the supervision of WACEO AISBL as a legal representative of WACEO.

Custodian’s responsibilities. The Custodian must abide by the rules of the policy and the private keys and password management policy. The Custodian shall not use funds allocated for the project for any other purpose, other than specified in the policy. The Custodian is expected to use critical thinking and reasonability for taking the appropriate security measures to safeguard the fund.

Governing law. The policy is subject to the Law of Belgium, in case of the infringement of any of the above clauses, the ordinary courts of Brussels will have exclusive jurisdiction to rule on any litigation or any other court proceedings which may come up in the implementation and or/the interpretation of the present policy.

Final Provisions. This Policy is incorporated into the relevant Agreement signed by the Custodian and other service providers and imposes legal obligations. All changes to this Policy shall be recorded in writing and become a part of this agreement. The changes shall be made transparent and available to the community members.
